Arena Bookings
Thursday, January 21, 2021We are experiencing a high number of arena bookings. To help us follow Covid-19 regulations, we are requiring all riders to register with us before using the arena. To book a time slot in the riding arena, please private message Alex Fraser Park's Facebook page, or text 250-255-8888 (do not contact this number outside of the hours of 8:00am to 9:00pm). Everyone riding is required to have valid Horse Council BC Insurance, and a current Alex Fraser Park membership.

Wednesday, September 23, 2020The construction is done, the finishing touches have been added and now with great anticipation we are moving in. The new facility at Alex Fraser Park has officially been named the Alex Fraser Park Agricultural Event Centre, commonly called the Ag Event Centre. It houses a 119 foot by 69 foot show arena overlooked by a 69 foot by 29 foot mezzanine floor adourned with glass windows for public viewing of events below.
Alex Fraser Park Holds Successful Events
Sunday, August 23, 2020With careful planning and strict adherence to covid19 protocol, several events at Alex Fraser Park have proven very successful. Congratulations to the BC Cutting Horse Association, the Quesnel Rodeo Club and to the Quesnel and District 4 H Club. The Rodeo Club sponsored two nights of drive in movies on the Park greenspace. The Cutting Horse competition attracted participants from throughout the province and the Quesnel and District 4H recently held the annual 4H show and sale.
Alex Fraser Park Reopening
Wednesday, June 3, 2020Alex Fraser Park will reopen Friday, June 5 for limited park membership riding. The main outdoor arena will reopen June 5 with the Agri-plex reopening June 20. Provincial health standards and guidelines will be strictly followed. Please visit the Park facebook page for details. When arriving at the park please introduce yourself to Larry Erickson the new caretaker.
